Though it’s lighter than its predecessor, this skin layer increases coverage at the throat and features a tighter weave across the front panel to provide more insulation where warmth is most critical. The back and arms feature a more open weave to increase breathability and actively modulate your microclimate’s temperature, expelling excess body warmth to prevent overheating during full-gas efforts.
